Guzman’s shoulder bothered him for 4 years????!!!

Washington Nationals shortstop Cristian Guzman said Friday that he has experienced pain in his ailing right shoulder for "three or four years," dating from his six-season run in Minnesota.

"My shoulder’s really bothered me for that long," Guzman said a day after he had a torn labrum diagnosed, an injury that means he will miss at least two weeks and potentially the entire season. "But I played like that, because I don’t like not to play. But this year, this is different. It’s worse."

If this is true, then its remarkable he was able to hit/field so well as a Twin.

It also speaks to how incomplete his Nats’ physical must have been … and how stubbord/stupid Guzman must have been to not say anything last year when everything went so poorly for him.

He came to camp this year stating he was much improved … lasik surgery on the eyes ..  determined to make up for last year.  Well, he KNEW his shoulder was still problematic.
