The Baseball Prospectus crew has put up their 2007 "Predictatron" contest, where you can enter your guesses for the season records of all the teams, and maybe win a decent prize. :-)

Why am I down on the Giants?

1) "trading" Schmidt for Zito is a net zero

2) they've done nothing to get any offense or get any younger

3) their defense outside of Vizquel and Roberts is very shaky

4) Armando Benitez is still their closer

5) Barryiumenema is still a distraction
